Source Unknown:

- Don’t photo things. Photo the difference between things.
- Your camera doesn’t matter as much. Focus more on your photos instead of on your camera.
- The best camera is the one that’s with you.
- Composition is all about simplification and exclusion, then balancing what you’ve got.
- When the light’s good, you don’t get more than 5 minutes.
- When the moment’s good, you don’t get more than just a “moment”.
- Avoid flash as much as possible even if you have Gary Fong.
- Save the tripod for the long exposure shoots. Tripod makes you lazy for not moving around.
- Use your feet more to get the best perspective even with a zoom lens.
- Pictures from others are not always better than yours. You just see more of your own bad photos and only see the good ones from others.
- Light, subject, and composition first. Play with your camera settings if you still have time.
- From time to time it is good to have the camera setting on Auto with a prime lens. This way I don’t need to worry about any settings and just focus on taking the pictures.
My photo assignments:
